Ability to view Hindi comics .cbr and pdf files : I have many Hindi comic books in .cbr and .pdf file format , and there many online(http://www.google.com/images?q=hindi+comics). Is there a way that they can be quickly converted to graphicly format in google chrome webstore and made available for as many folks, to view, as possible via browser (with no download necessary, of pdf or cbr) ?

Please provide ability to have direct deposit (into online bank account) of California EDD biweekly claim checks.Currently I can receive biweekly claim checks only by paper checks, which is inconvenient
Please provide ability to have alerts or email notifications sent to me, when I need to submit online claim form at EDD web-cert (ie claim is ready-to-file), or when a check has been sent out etc. Currently, there are no alerts, and one has to keep logging into the site numeous times to check on status.
Please provide link between original EDD application for benefits(apply4UI) and the EDD web-cert for biweekly submissions of claim forms. Currently, I had to create new login and password for EDD web-cert for biweekly submissions of claim forms after filing at apply4UI. Also after doing apply4UI, there is no online way of checking for application status, and one has to spend hours and hours on phone with EDD, which is inconvenient.
Please provide link between original EDD application for benefits (eApply4UI) and the EDD web-cert, currently, the two are completely independent, and when one submits for benefits (eApply4UI), then there is not much info at EDD web-cert website on the details and profile created for checking of follow-on status. Also, one needs to create two different accounts : one for original EDD application for benefits (eApply4UI) and another for the EDD web-cert, with different passwords, ie after filling out eApply4UI, one needs to create new login and password for EDD web-cert, which is inconvenient. The more information that is available online, the less time the claimant needs to try to call up EDD on phone, for hours.
Currently, there is no visibility into the process for a new person and person can have questions like : "how come the first check received has only one week of benefits instead of two weeks ?" The letter should provide the explanation that this was a "waiting week" etc, instead of user trying to call up EDD on phone, for hours. Also, there should be a way for claimant to flag to EDD, online, via web-cert that the person has found a job and will not be requesting more claim checks, etc

Online portal for companies and new hires, to manage complete new hire Offer process, letters etc, is needed : from interviews, to offer letters and acceptance, to getting an employee number, setting up W4, I9, direct deposit etc, in an online portal (instead of many back-and-forth email and documents.) Currently, my friend got a new job offer letter with a company, and he got some 10 pdf files in email that he needed to edit with his information (like Offer acceptance, W4 withholding info, I9, direct deposit info, date-of-birth/social sec info, etc). And he had to spend almost a day to recreate a pdf that had the completed information (since he had to convert the pdf file to Word document , then images, then type in the info into the images, re-create Word document and since he could not email those back because of size limitation, generate a pdf file etc, from various internet resources that do file conversion) And he was not expert in those things. It would have been much simpler if the company had offered an online website where he could securely fill out that info, and hit "Submit" and it would have taken at most half hour.

Can your company provide such a solution ? It will be a huge productivity enhancer.

Also, for background check, instead of user manually filling in the "employment history"and "education history" , it will be great if user can simply upload their resume(in Word doc), and your service can automatically fill in the "employment history"and "education history" from the uploaded resume. That way, user does not need to spend lot of time to fill in the information manually, and it should take only a minute for the user to fill in the "employment history"and "education history".

Please come up with a tablet computer that is able to also work as a powerful laptop/desktop replacement, by having a docking station with dumb monitor and keyboard, that users can put the tablet computer at, and which will then function just like a powerful laptop/desktop, and based on the size of the attached display monitor, will have its apps and browser automatically configure itself to the size of the attached display monitor. And of course, after removing this tablet computer from its docking station, it will function just like a usual mobile tablet computer. Also, if connected to the TV, it is a TV-settop box/DVD-player/blue-ray replacement, and since tablet computer can do voice/video calls, and is a full-fledged phone replacement as well.

Fedex Kinko etc : please offer document scanning and email services. Since more and more companies are going paperless, employees now have to scan expense receipts etc and email those to their corporate offices. Since lot of those folks are traveling, it will be good if they can go to one of your office locations, scan their documents/expense receipts etc, and email it back to themselves or store it online in the Internet.

Also, more and more folks are digitizing their books/photos, old videos etc, and storing those online, so if you can provide the scanning/upload/internet s service etc, that will help.

It will be great if Logitech can come up with USB-based remote control etc for a laptop-connected-to-TV (via PC to TV convertor box), for browser. Currently, I have hooked up my laptop to TV, via

KWorld PC to TV VGA Converter , to watch movies etc from the Internet via browser. But in order to change the movie, etc, I have to go to my laptop, go to another site using the laptop mouse, etc, and then watch that movie, which is tedious. So if Logitech can come up with USB-based remote control etc for a laptop, that will be great, so one can sit comfortably on the sofa, and using the remote control, browse on the laptop's browser (I am using google chrome browser) with ease.

a) Include sections for fixing not just mac products, but all kinds of laptops, electronic gadgets etc too
b) Go Social: provide a place for folks where other local folks can help fix gadgets for a small price. My digitical camera is not working, and I wouldnt mind getting it repaired for ten bucks

By collecting the email address and phone number of the parcel recipient, at the point at which the parcel is being shipped by the sender, your shipping company can co-ordinate via email and phone, with the recipient, as to the recipient's availability, and can co-ordinate routine and recipient can ensure that he will be at home to receive the parcel when it arrives. This will ensure that at the first delivery attempt itself, the recipient will receive the parcel, and save time, fuel and money for the shipping company and the parcel recipient.

A lot of times when I come home, I see, at the apartment complex door, stickers for undelivered parcels since the recipient was not home, and notices for 2nd, 3rd delivery attempt etc. Arranging for redelivery, for the recipient, is very tedious.

Please have Dailygraphs software be working on ALL browsers like Google chrome browser, Firefox etc , and not dependent on Windows computers or ActiveX etc. Also please make it all browser based, so I never have to download ANY software. Please enhance Click 2 call so that:
a) Click-to-call should provide productivity over phone calls for menu navigation: If I go to site like bankofamerica.com, and press Click 2 call, I should see, listed on my netbook/iphone screen, the different menu options, like "Press 1 for banking", "Press 2 for credit card", "Press 3 for mortgage", etc. Since this can be minutes of time wasted waiting on the phone listening to the menu options, such push-button menu choices will save huge time, if Click2call is done from netbook/smartphone, etc. Also, the time savings are even more, when a selection from a choice menu, leads to new menus, for example "If I press mortgate", then new menu options would be "Press 1 for new mortgage","Press 2 for existing mortgage", etc.
b) Click-to-call should take the callback phone number (and other information like name, email , etc) saved in my google chrome/facebook profile, and not keep asking me for this information or a callback phone number every time one presses Click2call. In fact, there should be no need for a callback phone number, as Click-to-call should connect directly from the computer/netbook/iphone that has been used to make the call request. Similarly, On smartphone, like iphone, etc, If someone would like to book a flight or taxi using iphone, or even open a new bank account, then they should not have to enter their home address/email address etc when voice chatting with customer service representative; the customer service representative on other side should be able to read-in automatically suggested address/email address , etc from my click2call client.
c) If I use Click-to-call for someone frequently, like a pizza store etc, to order a specific item or set of items mostly, then Click-2-call should remember those menu choices etc and automatically make those orders for me. "When you order with Click-to-call automatic ordering and online choice selection, you never have to hear that impatient, irritated tone of a teen-ager taking your order who doesn't understand the specials and just wants to be somewhere else, talking with anyone else but you. And the constant ringing of the phones in the background."
d) LivePerson online chat should include voice chat, besides text chat: I logged into Bank of America and was doing LivePerson chat with banking specialist, and wrote in text about my credit card request, and explained in detail, they then asked me to call up separate 1-800 number for credit card. So this is painful process, and timeconsuming. Please have LivePerson to accept voice calls using LivePerson, besides text chat. Then Bank of America should be able to transfer my voice call to appropriate department, online, without customer having to worry about calling another 1-800 number for a different department.

e) Not needing to re-verify customer, and authentication : Right now, when we call up a customer service representation(CSR) using the click2call after logging in to their online account, then the CSR has to re-verify all the information about the customer, especially if the click2call happens after the customer has logged in. This is a big time-waste for CSR and also the customer. for example, if I call up HSBC bank after logging in to my online HSBC account, I should not have to reverify all my personal information with HSBC CSR ; they should know that I have already been authenticated and should be able to get on with the task at hand
f) After logging in at say above online bank account etc, click2call should provide me ability to leave a secure voicemail also (besides options to call up CSR , etc) : that way, as customer, I should be able to leave voice instructions on what is needed. This helps avoid the waiting process when the bank has to locate a CSR to answer me and I am put on hold. Leaving voicemail, I can simply leave instructions knowing that they will be answered.
g) When I call up Bank of America using the Click2call, after logging onto Bank of America account, it asks me, before connection to enter my name, phone number etc. These should be auto-saved so I dont have to re-enter this info again and again. Also preferably, Click2call should pick up these fields like name, phone number, etc from my online Bank of America account.

I was trying to do my taxes. The IRS/Franchise tax board of California, provide fill-in adobe pdf files , but one still has to look up tax tables and do calculations separately in a calculator, etc. Can Adobe provide such tables/formulas as part of Adobe product, so that a tax filer can simply enter as tax information in the Adobe pdf file and the Adobe software will take care of doing the calculations and update the pdf file with results ? Right now, my internet connection is DSL but low-speed (150kbps in Kuwait), so playing fully streaming songs/videos from internet, causes gaps in loading content. Since the music/video that I am playing from your site is the same, can you enhance your technology so as to be able to store any song after it is played once in my PC/smartphone, so it can be re-used later again, and this will also put less strain on your application servers. Something of the order of Google gears/native code might be needed here.
b) Ability needed to be able to surf a video/audio content site, without having to open up a new browser page : Currently, when I am watching an online video/audio at your site and want to look for more video/audio content at that site, I have to open up a new browser page, since if I attempt to surf the site on the same browser page, then another page loads that has the search results and the video/audio stream terminates. But website like www.playlist.com has provided a cool feature that allows one to be listening to music etc and if the user intends to surf the site, then even though new pages will open up, but the music player remains as it is and does not terminate the currently playing content.

c) Login to hulu etc can be made simple through "Google connect" or "Facebook connect" , so one does not have to create yet-another userid/password, they can simply use their Google account. Hello, for CRM, can you please address how customer support representative at a company, should handle incoming queries ? At least two things are needed :

a) Ability for a customer support representative to atutomatically find what maybe related documents in internal documentation/knowledge base search (upon receiving customer query), and the person should also be able rank/vote for the search results, so other customer support representatives can leverage that data in the future, and highly-ranked information should appear first in the search results.

b) Customer support enhancement :Ability to manually come up with and setup contact groups (ie groups of email addresses) of other customer support representatives who are experts in certain topics, and who can be instant messaged ALL at once, with minimum effort, to find resolution to customer issue. For example, we would like to be able to set up expert groups for different areas (and share those expert groups, essentially group of email addresses, with everyone in the company), and we should be able to instant-message that group for any question one has that that group can help with. And such expert groups should be sharable and made available to all folks in the company, for edits or view, etc.

f) If I see a phone number in browser, somewhere on Internet, I should be able to right click on the number and have webcalldirect dial that number for me; that way I will not have to retype that number in webcalldirect.
g) Ability to use webcalldirect on mobile phones or smartphones like iPhone, blackberry, HTC Google Android phone, etc, to make VOIP calls from mobile phone. Also facebook application will help
h) I should be able to import my friends phone numbers from Facebook/gmail etc, and populate my contacts list easily. Right now, I have to manually populate my contacts list for Facebook/gmail friends.

j) If a person has a mobile and home and work number, I would like to make a call to that person at once on ALL their numbers, so that wherever they are, they should be able to pick up that particular phone, upon which remaining phone calls to that person on other lines, get dropped. That is much more productive for me, otherwise I have to manually try for that person, at their different numbers one-by-one.
k) Ability to have multiple family members to use my account at the same time : Since I have family in different parts of the world and I would like to share my voip account (so they can make pc-to-phone calls) with them all simultaneously(since some of them do not have credit cards). Right now, when one logs in, the other one gets logged out; this should not happen, they should be able to make calls simultaneously, using the credit in my voip account.

l) Please provide ability to receive incoming phone calls onto your softphone, like www.sipgate.com, gizmo5 etc provide. Currently,the softphone can only be used for placing outbound phone calls.

m) Please partner up with a SIP telephone provider link in USA, so that new customers can get not only your service on softphone, but also can find easy places online where they can buy a SIP-ATA physical telephone that they can use without having to use computer. Computer companies should create a new computer design, that would allow multiple people to do multiple, simple things on a single computer, in a home setting. For example, on ONE computer, two persons could be making voice calls with someone (that only needs a headset, not computer monitor), another could be watching a web-based movie on a TV connected to the computer, one could be editing a spreadsheet on the computer (that needs computer monitor). Also multiple monitors with their associated touch-screen keyboards, could be connected to the same computer.

Also, please come up with a cheap lightweight computer that you can tout as most economical($100-$300 range), that has:

a) No DVD or DVD/CD -RW
b) No lines to connect to printer, external displays, as printer is accessible on Internet itself
c) No dial-up modem, uses only Wi-fi or broadband
d) No unnecessary outputs etc at back of computer
e) Hard drive no more than 50Gig or so
f) Also webcam can become a standard built-in feature, for video conferencing, etc

Reason for above:
The computer would be forward looking. as (a) it uses the Internet for watching movies etc (hence no need for DVD or DVD/CD R-W), (b) it uses Internet for printing, it can upload files via Internet to print at nearest networked printer or Fedex-Kinko or Walgreens, (c) No dial-up model since it uses either DSL or cable, etc, (d) There are lots of unnessary pins at back of computer, they can be removed, (e) Since storage would be on Internet, Hard drive no more than 50Gig needed.

Also, that way, the notebook will be much lighter.

Also, the laptop Operating system should be cleaned up, and unnecessary icons and desktop applications removed. For example, in any new computers Start menu, there are so many icons for "Windows email" and "Windows products", most of which are not used by computer users anymore, as most use browser-based email (like Gmail, yahoo mail etc). Also for new computers, the Google Chrome browser is being used, which is good, but the look-and-feel of browser is very different from the feel of the Windows OS. It will be great if the Windows OS could feel be made more fluide like that of Google chrome browser.

Letter to CEOs of companies:
Dear Sir, In light of the current economic crisis, it will be better for more companies to apply salary cuts, instead of layoffs, especially companies that have higher salaries like high-tech/finance, etc. Such layoffs will depress the economy further, and the people who remain on board the companies will have to work harder, which will have much more toll on their body and mind. On the other hand, if there are salary cuts, not only will everyone be weather the storm, but also it will bring US salaries closer to those of other countries, and will have much more overall ameliorating effects on everyone. Also there needs to be more salary cuts in executive management, than in the actual hands-on producing employees, thanks to more Web2.0 collaboration efficiencies amongst producing employees.

Also, there should be more mergers and consolidations amongst players in the same industry(names like Broadcom, AMCC, PMC Sierra, come to mind as players in same industry) and lowering of salaries across the board.

Can California and US govt provide tax breaks to companies who simply reduce salaries and not lay off workers ? This will help in solving the current economic crisis to great extent.

Consumer personal finance and bill payment : business model enhancements

With recent trends in the economy of helping consumers save money on their purchases as well as maximize their savings, personal finance and internet bill payment together can offer consumers huge advantages if the following enhancements are made by companies like eBillmelater, Mint, paypal etc:

a) Offer advantage over credit cards : Customer Purchase prices should be lower by say 2-3% (credit cards can charge 2-3% of purchase price as fees, to merchant) for consumer, and merchant will also thus get lower revenues (which they do anyway, while using credit card too). This is similar to a "cash back rebate", but it is upfront in saving consumers money, and would be a VERY BIG PLUS, and customer base will grow exponentially.

b) Ability to link my other checking/savings accounts : for example, if I have a paypal account, I would like to be able to link all my savings accounts at various banks, and my various credit cards there. And if I make a purchase, then paypal should deduct funds from the LOWEST APR savings account (thereby maximizing the interest that the customer collects), and if I am buying on credit, then paypal should charge that credit card of mine, that charges the LOWEST APR or HIGHEST REWARDS credit card. This helps the consumer manage all his finances AUTOMATICALLY.

c) Help provide cheaper alternatives to customers: Since customer purchase information will be recorded at online billing company, such online billing company can provide a platform for outside financial planners to provide either manual recommendations for alternative/better services, or automated ads, based on consumer purchase history, etc. for example, if a consumer has bought items regularly via AT&T service provider, Cable companies can provide ads there on their cheaper services, and vice-versa. Or if I am paying rent at place XYZ, ads can show better rental/apartment options in close-by neighboring localities.

It can now provide ability for folks to write applications that mint users can add (similar to facebook applications), for various purposes: for example if mint user is at grocery store or gas station, the application tells them which credit card to use for that purpose, to maximize user rewards, etc. Similarly, it can flag to user which bank accounts might have low APR and to use those for paying off credit card etc. So, mint can provide an API which financial programmers can use to develop such applications.

Mint has access to personal financial data of its customers. It can now allow third party financial planners, to view this information, and provide value-added financial advice to customers. Mint, instead of just providing automatic personal finance recommendations (which might be a little early for its time), can also use the human approach to help its clients, then use that knowledge to automate the recommendations.

That way, DMV can update the folks, by email, about things like if their registration has been renewed, and their new registration stickers have been sent out , etc. Also, DMV can then send registration renewal requests by email, which will reduce paperwork and save postage, and saves time and effort. Currently, there is very little in the way of online services the IRS/FTB etc offer, to folks who have to file by paper. This year, I had to spend DAYS to track my paper returns, since I did not get any confirmation from IRS/FTB on whether the tax forms are received and if there is any balance due on my account, etc.

Youtube : Youtube subscriptions show up only on http://www.youtube.com/my_subscriptions ; youtube should provide ability to have "my_subscriptions" feed coming via RSS to my Google Reader, so I dont need to constantly keep checking my youtube subscriptions at above website, but instead I check Google Reader only for my youtube subscriptions updates.

Most importantly, Youtube should provide full ability for a person to create video and text commentary, daily or weekly, like a video blog. Right now, youtube only provides video addition capability, but a commentary includes both video and text etc.

In Facebook, for example, one can tag photos of contacts and it is shared instantly and shows up in my profile when my friends tag my photo. Similarly, on Picasa, if my friends tag me in their photos, I should be able to see those photos when I login to my picasa account.

Right now, Picasa only put up names of people in photos, but I should be able to put up names of my contacts using Gmail contacts, and mark them on the photo. Then anyone should be able to search for anyones photos, by searching for the email address of that person.

Thank you Crystal Geyser , for new eco-friendly bottle that uses 30% less plastic. But the label on the bottles (500mL) that wraps around the bottle (and that displays the logo, details etc) looks like it is made from some kind of plastic and is much much less biodegradable than paper wrap. Earlier, you had the label made of paper and that was very good, so if you can revert to that, that will be great. Also, even the production of current label is much more harmful to environment than the paper label (besides the disposal.)

Can you tell us what this YES+ program is about ?
Answer:
The YES+ is about bringing about belongingness in the course participants, for society. When the people get in touch with themselves and their connection with people around and with society at large, they feel a sense of responsibility towards taking a leadership role in society. They are able to make a big difference in society. Not only that, the course provides them amazing tools to eliminate stress, develop strong social and leadership skills, and heighten focus and awareness.
Question:
Would your program reduce violence and crime rate in DC ? And what other benefits would the city of DC see ? Would it also help reduce poverty, for example ?
Answer:
Yes. For example, it was found that the calming influence of simple group meditation practice reduced violent crime by over 23 percent in D.C., during an 8-week period in the summer of 1993. The YES+ program makes individuals stress-free and peaceful, and therefore the society becomes peaceful.

Question:
So, your program will help the city. How does it do for the individual ?
Answer:
Individuals who attend the course become stress-free, start doing extremely well in time management, their relationships improve and they are able to easily resolve conflicts, and they are able to study well and easily. The course is organized in a very interesting way, and it includes interactive processes and games. They gain much more awareness about their environment also.

Question:
What is so unique about your program ?
Answer:
We are at a unique time in history. People want to be stress-free and happy, feel a sense of belongingness with people around them, and much more time. But they do not know how to get there. Our program provides this through some very easy processes. The stress that people carry now is very high and this leads to problems for the individual, society and the planet. And it is at this unique time in history, that this program is the best answer.

Question:
There is a lot of interest now in your program that will help youth take on responsibility and leadership for the city of DC. How does your program accomplish that ?
Answer:
It is through a combination of ancient breathing techniques and other unique processes, and wisdom on living life. The course caters to the physical, mental, social and emotional aspects of oneself. On the physical aspect, it includes body exercises, yoga and innovative breathing techniques. On the mental aspect, it has practical knowledge and interactive processes to improve memory, concentration & focus. On hte social level, it includes experiential processes to develop problem solving strategies and social skills; Interactive processes to develop leadership and life skills; Teamwork exercises to teach cooperation and conflict resolution. At the emotional level, it includes group discussions designed to help one feel at ease in challenging situations, and increase confidence and inner strength to better handle criticism and peer pressure.

Question:
With young people so pressed for time, many feel that they do not have time to take on responsibility for society, or that their actions will not have an impact on society. What do you suggest ?
Answer:
Through our program, people become much more efficient in their time management. So, they after the program, they are able to accomplish much more in the same amount of time. Also, the program empowers young people to move from being influenced by their environment, to having an influence on their environment. We work to ensure that tomorrow's voices for peace and unity are stronger than those of violence and self-centeredness.

This course is being offered in a lot of areas, for example : New York, Silicon Valley in San Francisco Bay Area, Berkeley, Seattle, Chicago, New Orleans, D.C, and other places. Internet media players should have TV-like video channels, and easy and fast channel-switching capabilities, to help viewers watching online videos feel as if they are watching TV itself.
For example if you go to http://idesitv.com/, then you see lots of Indian TV channels broadcast online, but switching from one channel to another, requires closing of current window, opening new one, etc. But this can be made more TV-like, ie switching of channels, should be done, with single pressing of a key. Also, there is too much time lag between switching between two channels. But in TV, switching from one channel to another, the switch is instantaneous, and there is no Buffering needed by the media player.

Improving Google Web Search results

Google should have more user-created and user-voted sites in Google Search results.
Reason being, when I search for something, nowadays, I get a lot of artificial commerical search results not relevant.
a) Social ranking of pages will help here, that digg.com etc provides, and Google should include such results in search.
b) Auto-linking to Google Docs : After all, say 10 people who have collaborated on making a Google document or spreadsheet, means the page is relevant. People create lot of nice information on Google Docs and Spreadsheets. While Google Docs allows publishing such pages, it does not automatically provide a link to it. There should be a default link to the page (as in Blogger), so that such pages have a chance of showing up in search results. So beyond just publishing docs, GoogleDocs should provide default-linking capabilities. A team of 20 of my friends and myself, recently created some very nice and useful work on GoogleDocs, and have published it, but it is useless to the web, unless someone is linking to it.

Dear DMV and traffic school, It will be nice to keep the traffic school to no more than 4 hours, to save folks time; every lost hour is equal to one hour lost in the world's productivity. Some of the questions I faced in recent online traffic school are not related to driving at all, for example : "When did President Hoover come to office ?" , "When did Roosevelt get the nobel peace prize ?", "How much did Haynes-apperson 1903 sell for ? (Answer is $1500)", etc. More and more such questions can be removed from DMV Traffic school curriculum

I read about India's stand that India's per-capita emissions are far lower than those of wealthier, developed countries. But what needs to be looked at is not per-capita emissions, but emissions per square kilometer. Otherwise, a country can simply keep increasing its population, to bring down the per-capita emissions numbers. India's per-capita emissions is simply lower because of India's huge population problem.

India simply does not have the amount of land ie air, and number of trees to be able to afford emissions. I tried to use freecycle, but it seems to be made up of lots of yahoogroups, and am still waiting for yahoogroups moderator approval (this is tedious), also there seem to be lots of comments in the group. I expected freecycle.org to be more ebay-like, where I simply post the articles I have for give-away, and other folks can simply search for it. Another issue is that I live in Menlo Park, and there are so many different groups in freecycle.org, like palo alto, san mateo groups, etc and one cannot join all of them. Also there should be some facebook application on this, that would help me simply add it to my facebook profile, where I can do the posting/browsing of such recycled items.

Hello, a) I recently booked international flight from United airlines, thru my travel agent. But when I wanted special meals, I had to call up United on phone, and spend 20mins in the process. I had tried to modify my meal plan online, but could not do so. I should be able to request special meals online too, and change it online, any time. This will also help UAL save money.
b) On recent trip from SFO to LIH, via honolulu, the first flight got delayed by 4 hours. But there was another direct flight from SFO to LIH was taking off around the same time and it had empty seats. If United could have found that out and announced that or let us know, we would have reached our destination in half the time.

a) It hangs a lot, when I try to edit it, on "Select Content"
b) Right now, I am able to extract data from only one website, using an input variable, but using the same input variable, I would like to be able to extract data from few different sites
c) Also, I should be able to manipulate the data extracted, ie do mathematical operations (like multplication, division, etc) on different extracted numbers etc, and also sort them, etc
d) Presentation of output information : whether numbers, charts , etc : the output data should be formattable
e) Bugs: I have dapper gadget at http://stocksartofliving.googlepages.com/dapps : Type in stock symbol "LEN" in first gadget, it shows output fields being repeated.

Dear US Passport office, Applying for new Passport should be completely Online ie Internet-based, instead of printing and mailing forms, which waste paper and increase processing times and increase chances of errors. Dear Governor Schwarzenegger, I wanted to incorporate a business in California, and right now it takes a lot of paperwork, it can all be made online, and starting a business can take only a few hours then. It takes only a few hours total, to incorporate a business in Singapore. and I am surprised that at the Sacramento website http://www.sos.ca.gov/business/corp/corp_contacts.htm#regional there is not even an online submission form for queries, etc, and it relies on paper mail/phones that are inefficient processes. There should be more automation here, using Internet technologies, to save everyone time and effort.

If all the college and school lectures are online, not only will it save time and energy for teachers and professors and not have them go through the same work again and again, but it will free up their energies towards more one-on-one work with students and for more research. Also, students will be able to access those lectures whenever, and as-many-times as they want, and this will reduce costs for everyone. MIT has already done this and so has Univ of California, Berkeley (UCB at youtube), for free. Google, Yahoo etc to have an Open Contact information etc, that maintains my name, email address, physical address, list of friends , etc.

So If I search on Google Maps for driving directions to "Sam's house", Google Maps should access my friends contacts and find the directions directly. Or If I say , on Google Talk or Yahoo messenger, to call "Sam's phone", then it should find Sam in my contacts phonelist and call the person up.
And one should be able to import contacts etc from each others databases. While Google's OpenSocial helps developers by helping them leverage their code, this Open Contact will help the consumers by helping them leverage their contacts info , across multiple sites.

Similarly, my Groups (Yahoogroups, GoogleGroups, etc) should be portable across multiple social networksing sites. So on for my posts on walls, etc

b) Online travel agents should help search for good deals AROUND the travel date(ie say 2 weeks before and after the arrival and departure dates), and display results in matrix form, so that customer can choose plan based on its flight duration, inexpensiveness, etc. Right now, Orbitz does show 3days before and after flights too (in its flexible travel option), but it should have more days, ie one month before and after too.

c) On Orbitz, when I found a nice international flight for $1000 and tried to book it, Orbitz gave message "We're sorry. Due to changes in airline availability, the fare for your selected trip is no longer available. We have adjusted the fares for all affected flights. The fare for your selected trip is now $ 2228 total. See below. (Message 1048)"
I had spent about half hour narrowing down to that flight and THEN we see this message? Orbitz should automatically exclude such results. Secondly, when I did the search again, the same invalid trip for $1000 showed up. The trip was from SFO->KWI, and it was via Qatar Airways for some portion of travel.

a) When one makes a transfer, from one bank to another on FNBO Direct, one cannot delete or modify it. Secondly, it is not even visible to user on the website, so customer has no idea of what transfers are pending

In order to save ISTA mailing costs and paper, and reduce cutting of trees , and save the planet/polar bears , etc, please do not send paper mail of ISTA paper bills etc. Please send out only emails containing the billed amount. This also helps me schedule your ISTA payments immediately versus receiving your paper mail and then scheduling your payments.
Secondly, do you now accept payments, electronically, without any fees, on your site via credit card ?

Corusbank does not have any ACH out feature; when I wanted to withdraw money from it, Corus had to send me paper check, so I had closed the account. Corus should have good online ACH features, like Eloan.com, ING Direct, etc

Dear IRS, Franchise tax board : Right now, I spent 4 days fillinig out my tax forms, etc and my friend took a week. We should have a Web-based on-demand complete tax filing solution (for both federal and state), that would also import W-2s etc, and reduce paperwork and provide good cost savings for EVERYONE. Spending so much time filing taxes is a HUGE productivity loss for the country. Also even though I sent checks to both IRS and FTB, my IRS check has been cashed properly, but my FTB check is still not cashed (as per my bank online statement). With web-based solution, there will not be such issues. Also, for my tax bracket, I found that I am not able to efile for either IRS or FTB.

a) Everyone, regardless of income should be able to fill tax forms online and e-file for free. Folks should not have to buy software or hire tax professional for filing taxes.
b) People spend hours and days every year filing taxes. For most folks, since the information is already submitted to IRS/FTB by their employer, bank etc, IRS should be able to calculate the tax automatically on its website and user can then modify it as needed and submit the tax forms there itself ? This will improve the nation's efficiency and cut costs. It is high time this is done, since internet has advanced so much but IRS tax filing is lagging behind.
c) To save trees, every year, to reduce number of tax booklets sent out to taxpayers, there should be easy OPT-OUT on Internet for tax booklets. Right now, there is no such Internet-based opt-out.
d) It is good that folks can contact FTB online for sending feedback, but IRS does not have a feedback collection : in that case, how can it improve.
e) For Calfile, can you please add "Capital gains or losses. " since most people through working in a company, have capital gains or losses. And with this, LOTS of people will be able to Calfile

Wrote to Blogger/youtube to have easy video creation and upload for blog publishers Right now, in Blogger, there is a button to "upload a video" to my blogpost, but no way to easily (a) create a video (maybe record the screen etc, and my voice), (b) upload it to blogger and youtube simultaneously. Since I am a blogger whose time should go to the actual content, I should not have to spend time finding such software etc. Blogger and Youtube should make this easy. Right now, one would have to buy Camtasia recorder, at http://www.techsmith.com/camtasia.asp, which uploads video to screencast.com
